what you mean by proper kit? the adaptor?

i changed my front speakers in corsa C put in infinity components........ brought a autoleads kit form halfords for £12 and speakers fit straigh in.... if you puttitng good speakers in u may aswell fit propper kit as if not fitted propperly you will get virbration from the metal

i can get the door card off no problem, it was just wether the speakers would go in the door or no that i was worried about

yeah i had the door cars off apart from the top! it wouldnt move and didnt want to push too hard.

I recently got some 6½" alpines in the front doors, to save £15 on speaker adaptors, i cut out the old speaker from the mount and glue gunned the new 1's in. It means i cant swap them over when i change my car but it wont be for a few years so i dont care!
The door cards are a bitch to get off, theres screws behind the tweeter covers, and the door handle surround, 3 along the bottom and 1 in the middle. Then pull from the bottom and lift upwards, easier said tham done!!!!!

id love to know how to move the damn card

just ordered 165a focal components for my corsa c. wondereing if they'll go straight in or wether i'll have to do some work to the door or door card.
