did mine in a hour
jus jacked up rear
took both wheels off
rubbed drum down a bit
washed n dried it
jus used bodycolor paint to spray it
waited 15mins or so (was a breeze so dried quicker)

4 days? Just do each wheel in turn and leave overnight, why take all 4 wheels off at once?

To fit new disks / pads. Paint the calipers and drums took a day and a half. If you start at 9, clean them till about midday, Painted by half 1. Wheels on at 3. Driving car around with painted drums the next morning!!

so thus taking 4 days to complete, cos surely by the time you have got the rust cleared and then hammerite painted on the time will be ticking yes ?

You can put each wheel back on afterwards, but just leave the car overnight for the paint to fully dry.

You can put the wheel back on after about an hour cos the you don't paint the part of the drum that comes in contact with the wheel.

Just don't move the car for a while cos the paint needs to harden

Yes, you can. The drums will probably be full of rust and other crud. Use a mains drill with a wire brush attachment and take them down to bare metal. Then paint with something like hammerite in your desired colour! Oh and give them overnight to be safe before driving.
