Warren seems too have done it with aftermarket. I think I might be on the right track now thanks.
I've had a look today, thought I'd let you all know incase anyone else wants to do it.

I went and removed a brake switch from a vectra b z18xe. The wires are-

black(live)

black/yellow(brake light)

black green(not sure but probably brakelight other side as in same place as black/yellow)

black/red(the one I want as it goes back to the ecu)

I'll wire up the brake pedal switch tomorrow and see if I can then read the codes

Hi, I have fitted a z18xe to a tigra a(corsa b). I am having trouble getting it started. i would like to read the fault codes but I am not sure how to as there is no brown/yellow wire to earth out on the engine loom.

does anyone know how would the vectra b 2002 codes normally be read as this is what the engine came from. Is it a pedal test or paperclip?

Has anyone done this conversion using the standard management?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, Ryan Edit Post Reply Reply With Quote .
