Not sure what to do yet as I haven't got the money to buy everything I need at the moment.

Yeah I think I'll go and have a word with John at PDS sometime.

r u not gonna go for a build like u had in the corsa, it was one of the best looking corsa installs, not sire of sq or spl, cause u never turned it on while we were there, cause it was raining ( Jaffas shoot)

itd suit the astra too, in the same blue alacantara as b4,

Yeah there really good. I love mine and I went from a AudioBahn 12" 500wRMS sub to this DB audio one and it's sounds soo much better. I went for the twin 10" one cos it's punchy and drops really low. The twin 12" one was far to heavy.

sure will, try the db audio rap 10 box. i listen to all types of music from rap to house, i have an alpine headunit so i just turn the bass down when listening to house the whackit up for bassy tunes.

Cheers Ian for posting again.

Hmm not sure now then.

I mainly listen to trance, garage etc.. would it cope with these tracks?

Bandpass tend to be more efficient over sealed and are great for long low bass lines i.e gangsta rap etc. However if you try and play a REAL low frequency through bandpass the sub may loose control and play asthough its 'free air' which could seriously damage the sub allowing its v.coil to bottom out. Its all on personal taste, i prefer sealed as they are small, easy to construct and tend to be more 'musical' than bandpass. Sealed also hit harder, a lot harder. To the ears bandpass is usually louder than sealed. Bandpass and ported boxes tend to be used for SPL applications however if 'tuned' correctly they can also have great SQ. Best bet is to go listen to a few different types before you buy or if you have enough time/money you can buy a sub and experiment with enclosures. Personally im no big fan of 'pre-built off-the-shelf bandpass jobs'.

I only got a bandpass box so the bird can't put her hockey stick through it.
I got the DB Audio RAP 10 BOX and would recommend it.
Bandpass boxes are quite similar to ported boxes as they are tuned to drop low and rumble. Sealed boxes are punchy. Dunno wot they are used mostly for SQ or SPL but I would say SQ.
