You dont need a soleniod for a boot release, a 2 wire central door locking motor works fine just in the same way. it will cost less than half the price.
Their easier to fit too

does anyone know where i can get a solenoid kit for a smoothed boot? does anywhere sell smooth boot panels? (on-line)
