My jamex ones do it every now and then as well. 99% of the time they are spot on. Its only if I go down a really shit road covered in holes etc that sets it off.

anyone got a solution for this yet? is it just jamex shocks or does it not matter about the make?

I've had creaking noises at the rear before (ooer!), and it turned out to be the nylon bushes on the spring of the brake load sensing valve

my creak has gone but i think it is my springs banging because paint has craccked on them like

No its not the spring coils touching each other its definetly the shocks top mounts or the shock itself.

oh right, yeah that will be the springs hitting as you go over bumps

might be the coils hitting themselves if you know what i mean, i had some FK yellow ones and when i took them off the middle 2 coils had the paint cracked off where they had been banging together over bumps

its not the exhaust because when the exhaust hit the axel it makes a different noise this one isnt like the exhaust one and the exhaust doesnt hit the axel anymore i used rubber from a side wall off a old tyre like

the knocking might be the exhaust, cant see why only the backs would make a noice though.

my front ones did it, i just sprayed some WD40 up onto the spring and seat and it stopped it, although its starting to do it again now (did it ages ago)

i think this is more or less normal but the the rear suspension creaks over bumps etc.. done it on my old car does it on the new exactly the same, what do you reckon the reason for this is? bushes knackered or is it nomal? is a jamex suspension |
