check the timing, it wouldnt explain how its got worse while u was on holiday, but on the x16xe i am on my third genuine crankshaft sproket. it doesnt take long to check and you would be able to rule off timing

Basically my car has started to misfire and since its been sat while i was on holiday its gotten worse. I only managed to get 35 miles to £10 of petrol! Its got brand new plugs and plug leads, we think the coil pack might need replacing, my brother also reckons it could be to do with the coolant temp sensor? Anyone got any other ideas what could cause this? Thanks
