i have euro corsa and it's not the grey wire with the red stripe. i guess it's cos it's not uk corsa, but just wanted to say - it's the blue wire. this wire is for amp - when you turn on the HU it is supposed to turn on your amp, but the original vauxhall stereo it clears the date for the frequency to be shown
cheers!

I've got the 6300 and it plugged straight in. I've not cut any wires or anything and the mfd still shows all it should, odd that.

i thought it was a red or grey or red with a grey stripe, isnt the blue wire your remote turn on is and is pretty damn important :S

you do its the blue one on the harness that is connected to the electric aerial output on the headunit.

Its because your headunit is an aftermarket one and doesnt come with the wires to connect it to the top dash display, it only works with vauxhall units or you can get a converter to do it but at about £70 its pretty pointless and surely you have a clock on your headunit if you are that bothered about it!!!
