well i tryed 2 get insured with liverpool vic on a 2.0 16v but they wouldn't qoute so i got my mother 2 insure it until next year with me as a named driver,they qouted 456.30 fully comp for a 2.0 16v corsa and all my body mods declared so i've took out the policy o yeah i'm 20, no ncb,and 3 points(sp60)

mate go with liverpool, my cars a 1.6 sport, full kit, zorst, induction, throttle bodies, chip, wheels, suspension etc..and im just 18 im payin 1700 fuly comp.

CIS is pretty good.... doesnt mind non-power affecting mods....
1.2 8v with alloys and bodykit for me was £300 fully comp with protected NCB.... yeah I know its not the same but they were a whole lot cheaper than everywhere else I'd tried (for comparison) and an old bloke comes round your house and checks out your car.. very 1950's!

I GOT IN TOUCH WITH LIVERPOOL VICTORIA TODAY AS U ALL RATE IT SO WELL I WAS CURRENTLY PAYING 600 POUNDS WITHOUT MODS BEEN QUOTED 1300 POUNDS WITH MODS ON A 1LITRE 12VALVE CORSA I WOULD RATHER GET RID OF THE CAR AND GO 4 SOMETHING WITH A BIT MORE POWER ANY SUGGESTIONS?

i forgot to say i work for a large insurance company and modifications do void the policy if you crash and are undeclaired! The quote i had through work was in excess of £1200 even with staff discount just wondering if any one has a good company other than the ones i know of! Many thanks

I wouldn't bother declaring the mods, they don't make the car much faster at all, wot i'd do is get the insurance and then tell them a month later that you're going to do the mods but the mods dont increase BHP, they shouldnt care

Right ive got an sri 8v with alloys magnex and pipercoss filter im 19 and have no ncb, the quotations ive had so far for 3pft insurance have been in excess of £1200, some wont even quote because of the mods. Ive tried performance car companies/brokers! any1 any ideas?:mad:
