No - done a few conversions using this pipe - no problems - just have to fabricate a mounting plate with the same diameter pipe as the ecotec pipe welded to a flat plate the same size as the top of the throttle body - sealed to the throttle bode by a gasket!!!!

and fitting it that way requires no modification to the bulkhead area?

pipe in question is from vectra 2ltr 16v (x20xev) from throttle body to air flow meter

not a sfi box u buy a pipe and have a plate made, mine was a rush job but dident pay for it, so have a look. the 150 for a powercap or 12 for the pipe i know what i would rather pay.......

u buy the pipe from the air flow meater to the plate (which u have made) that sits onto of the carb.......

i reckon the SFI box will look crap. n wot happens if the sheet metal worker makes a fukc up? u got any pics of the sfi box in a corsa coz i thought it dont fit coz u have to modify the engine bay for the powercap to fit, and thats smaller than the SFI box :boggle:

not saying the good u get are not good, as i have used the *** kit and ths good are very good, just think people need to talk and look into things before, jumping into buying the kit.........

shafts from ****** 230 no need for hubs or new wheels bareings (save load of work and at least 80 on 2 wheel B)
engine mount - yes eather buy one or make one as u only need th drivers side mount, all the *** book about gear box one is aload of shit, just make more work for u.
SFi replacment box 12 notes from vaux, then go to a sheet metal place and get them to make u a plate up so it can sit on, no more then 15 notes, save work and no need to cut dash or move brake pipes...........

anything else......the *** kit is over pirce and make the job ALOT harder

not using companys names cos of all the sjit i may get

the powercap comes with the fitting kit doesnt it?

would you need a GSi rad if you had an SRi?

I understand Ill need a new expansion tank which has 2 hoses coming from it.

u wanna get an exhaust tube which is at least 2 1/2" wide
as said, get the PVD kit as this gives u all the essentials u need, and get the powercap (95quid) from there as well :)

Im toying with the idea of a 2ltr in ma beast since the piston let go on me.

Thinkin of fitting it my self with the help of PVD's fittin kit, anyone done this?
If so how difficult?

Ive got a power flow twin exit on there the now but i think the bore size will retrict it power wise.
What exhaust you's all running?
