Are you certain it's an F15? The reason I ask is it is a lot more work to fit that gearbox onto an F20 rather than the one the donor engine came with.

The F15 will need you to start pissing around with pressure plates, clutches and flywheels.

The F15 is a 'small block' gearbox. It will physically bolt upto the XE without a problem but you will need to have engineering work done on the flywheel to take the relevant pressure plate and then you will need to use a Nova diesel clutch plate. That's off memory as it is at least 6 years since I considered doing it, albeit with an F10/13 for low gearing.

Be 100% certain what box you have, it's far more likely to be an F16 than an F15 due to the work involved. Also, whatever is on there, ensure that it worked prior to you buying it, unbolt the box and look at the clutch assembly - get us a picture!
