If its an F16 cr it will be stamped as that

im lookin for a new gearbox for my redtop corsa but my mate has offerd me his and its an f16 are they any good? was told the f16cr was good but how do you kno if its a f16cr or just an f16?? will it say f16cr on it or will they both just say f16?
