40 is ok on standard shocks, mine was like it for 2 years and the shocks were still fine when i took em off.

hey guys, I have just bought 17s and lowering springs for my corsa c. gonna go 40mm. will i need shocks too?? i thot it would be ok? if its gonna be a prob, can i add the shocks later cause the springs are already on :S

they will be fine with gmax shcoks yes.

Thanks. Took your advice and ordered myself the g-max shocks to go with my g-max springs. That should do it shouldnt it? Aftre all it has cost me enough!!

ur standard shocks will only last a couple of months!!
then its a very bouncy ride!!
oh and it becomes a bitch to control ur car!!!

I have just put my 17s on my corsa, and bought 60mm lowering springs. When ordering them they told me that if i didnt uprate the shocks as well i could be in for some problems. Will i be alright with standard shocks?:o
