i get a ticking behind my glovebox but it is something to do with my alarm cause it only happened when i had it fitted.

Have you got an alarm on yours by any chance? i think its just a relay.

is it a corsa C? i had to have the electric control box? replaced cos it was ticking and made a whining noise when the car was in motion.

The engineer told me its in the engine bay in front of dashbaord (passenger side)

it was done for free cos the cars under warranty, but i imagine its expensive if it aint?:boggle:

If you've only had the car a week take it back to where you got it and have them sort it

is it deffo coming from car, not thru speakers

it aint the wheel bearing, if it was the wheel bearing then the noise would only occur when the car was moving, and it would get louder as you pickup speed & quieter as you de-accelerate.

if the noise happens when its idling then try & pinpoint where its coming from

I have a S99 Corsa sport 1.4 16v, when i start the car i get about 3 clicks over by the glovebox (or behind it) and also when driving i get this kinda high pitch hum that works with the acceleration, at first I thought it was wind but now i know its not, when i stop the car and turn the ignition off the noise kinda winds down...it wasn't there before and it worries me is it normal? I've had the car nearly a week.

Thanks
