best way to get torque is a turbo or nitrous.

no, just drill your air box on allsides except the engine facing side and duct cold air to it

For £200 will it be any better than a drilled box?

I had a quick look at the air box yesterday, it quite deep. Do the holes go on the actual bottom or on the sides?

Drilled air bix with K&N panel filter will be more than sufficient. Get a cold air feed to the holes underneath so it can suck in more cold air.

Yes they do TB's for the 1400 16v, but prepare for your wallet to empty sharpish!

What would you suggest for the first few mods to get more torque out of a 1.4 16v (bar engine transplant) Top speed is not too much of an issue, all I want is torque, although abviously any extra top end that comes as a result is a bonus :D |
