I did have a number once for vauxhall where you ring them and ask them a question and they'll answer it. I mean any question (like how do I take off my bottom pulley etc). Was very good. but unfortunaly the piece of paper that it was written on met an unfortunte end with the bin :(

Every car owner should have one. Interesting to learn how your car works too.

THEY GET IT WRONG WHEN THEY SAY ITS EASY AND TAKE ABOUT 30 MIN IT USUALLY TAKES ABOUT 3 HOURS AND WHEN THEY SAY SOMETHING IS HARD IT IS ACTUALLY QUITE EASY

Just how good are the haynes manuals (corsa in paticular)?

Do they give step by step guides on how to do things or just tell you where everything is?

How complex a job could a beginner do with a manual and some tools?

Boils down to my previous prob...could I fit a new crank angle sensor myslef? What about a new head gasket (not that mines gone yet - touch wood)?
