you'll need to get the car put on a code reader as the paper clip test doesn't work with the 1.2 16v iirc

they have problems with ICV and AFM on the 1.2 iirc so your best off getting the codes read so you can make a more accurate conclusion and it will cost you less money than having to just un plug bits and fit new ones to see if it fixes it.

hi my question is.... should the engine management light come on when i unplug the lambda sensor? the engine runs quite ruff on tickover so on investigation i unplugged the lambda to see what wud happen and absolutely nothing happened. still ran the same. jst wondering if maybe the lambdas not working. oh its a x reg 1.2 16v sxi.
