Has it only recently just stopped working?
The gauge on my Vectra doesn't move out of the blue whist driving, Takes a good 15mins of idling to register in this weather.
Try sticking a piece of card in front of your rad.

If however your gauge stopped working a while then I am talking crap:lol:

should be a blue wire with a rectangular block on it that plugs on to intake manifold

hiya for no apparent reason my gauge isn't working doesn't move at all, its on a 1.4 8v engine, i've checked the connection to the sensor which i presume is the one on the nearside of the cylinder head? has anyone any ideas which it is more likely to be the gauge or the sensor? or anything else it could be?
cheers mike
