i think its the deadlock mechanism, mine did exactally the same, that little bit snapped off. i just got some cav rear door handles, sprayed them up and fitted them to my car. oh i got remore central locking first tho, cos the locks kept pissing me off (the keys got stuck and the barrel had no 'positions') cost 100 quid in total, incl central locking (fitted), and door handles. | |

Right got it apart, eventually, had to get door trim off with door stuck closed :( | |

My central locking is knackered, keeps blowing the fuses! was well interesting when I had to get petrol!!!! | |

MINE DID THAT AND I HAD IT FIXED FOR FREE AT THE GARAGE COS IM CHEEKY.... ID JUST GET IT DE-LOCKED... REMOTE CENTRAL LOCKING IS DEF THE WAY FORWARD!! | |

My locks have been dodgy on car for a while now, not unlocking sometimes, and theres no positions in the barrell (when u turn key it spins) |
