Stcik some blue tac onto the lips in the boot where the shelf sits. Cheap and stops it rattling :)

Nope, u need to jack the car up and turn the spring round a bit more. The springs catching on part of the underside of the car. I've got the same problem, just aint got the time to move it round yet.

Just turn it round till u can see that the edge of the spring has clearance. U'll see what i mean when u get under the car. Easy job, just takes time jacking the car up etc etc etc.

Daimo - yeah the constant banging is something in the car, so guessed it was the parcel shelf. Been out and secured all the panels in the boot and made parcel shelf sit tighter - its helped quite a bit. The other noise was kind of a creaking noise, like when you pull away after the cars been stood ages as the handbrake is released.

Most likely that your exhaust is now sitting on top of the rear trailing arm.

Is it more like a banging noise, things clunking together?

Had the Spax -40mm kit fitted on Sunday. It handles lovely, sits nicely, but there are loads of new noises. Think its the parcel shelf but something constantly rattles everytime you go over a bump, had 3 in yesterday and it made some wierd dragging noise like the exhaust was scraping but got under it and nothing had touched the deck, any ideas?
