CV joint is removed by opening up the circlip inside the joint and pulling away from the shaft. 30 second job with a circlip tool from halfords @ £6.99 (or a 10 minute job with two small screwdrivers. lol)

No I ain't replaced the inner. Will it b the inner coz it mainly makes the noise when turning. I managed to change the CV joint, I had use of all the necessary tools at college including the tool to remove the clip!

you can't repace CV's on their own unless you have special tools to do it :boggle:

Nova driveshafts are shorter than corsa ones by about 1-2"'s

The other week I heard a knocking coming from the n/s/f wheel & straight away thought it was CV joint. So I replaced the CV joint & the same knocking again. So I think it's a driveshaft or hub. A m8 of mine buys nova's 4 parts, so I'm thinking will a SR/SRI shaft be the same as on my 1400 sport?
