Is there some specific suspension kit that already has strengthened springs then or is it just a general Corsa one?

the avo coilovers come with 8" x 250lb on the front and 9" (or10", can't rember) x 175lb on the rear

that's the 701 kit with rear coilovers rather than 700 with fixed -60 rears

When I got the 2.0L it had LEDA.... did my fucking head in, the ride was ok but they have these bearings in them that CLUNK when you go from lock to lock, ive now got some custom made H&R coilovers ride from -25mm to -125mm on the fronts :D the ride is excelent but they were £800 :(

Coilovers definitely recommended. C3 handles ok and ride is less harsh than you'd expect.

i'd go for a coil over Daim, just to have a full proper set up. Goin rate around £500 at the mo for these i think?

Otherwise, just use uprated shocks (decent brandage), but use custom springs with higher poundage rate on the front. I think rears can stay std.

Just as a rough example, before my bro done his 2.0 16v conversion (nova) he was on a -60mm full set up. All was fine, but after wards, front had dropped bout another 15mm and he had to use koni adjustables with -40mm custom springs to get a decent ride

Trying to get some advice for a mate. When doing a 2.0litre 16v conversion, what suspension would people advise and how much would he be looking at just to buy it? Preferably -35mm

Cheers
