Yeah I wasn't having a dig, just advising you that any drop on those rims will probably give you grief.

the thing was when I first got the car last year I just wanted a set of nice wheels quickly and when I got them the garage who put them on said they were the correct offset and everything but if i knew what I knew now then I would not have bought them but thats what modding is all about I suppose its about making mistakes thats what is good about this website with so many people giving advice I was not a member a year ago.

To be honest I'd advise new wheels then a 35-40mm drop. This equates to a 25-30mm drop on a GSi.

I know especially the rear wheels, so you would advise to stick with 40mm or something a bit less such as 30-35mm

It's lowered about 10-15mm as standard. 40mm is the most you'd want with standard shocks.

Right I have 15"Kahn RSR'S on and I want to lower me car a bit. As the car is already lowered a bit as standard not sure how much. I want it lowered a bit more but how much is safe to do, if I go with 40mm springs is that going to be too little as its already lowered a little thus not gaining much for the money paid and help appreciated or ideas on what to do cheers Paul.... |
