RIGHT, ive found the problem with my emissions *another thread* it was the cat... big hole init lol... sorted now... retest on monday.

Ive noticed something quite strange, the engine management light only comes on if i press my clocks in really hard... i must of not screwed the clocks in at the bottom... gna check that out 2mrw.

Cheers mate, just been garage and apparently it means what you said... Just had a quick look on ebay and if i can find one i should be able to pick one up cheap...

Can i just straight swap it for another one?
Where abouts is it located?

ECU is fubarred or one or more connections to it are chuffed.

Cheers john, i done it again with the engine on and both codes come up again, i cleared them and run the test again (which the engine on) and now only the bottom code is showing... Anyone know what this is? How i can fix it? If its related to my emissions failure?

The engine has to be running to read the codes.

If it's not running you get the codes above.

That's definitely the crankshaft code and probably the other one as well, engine has to be running.

Can anyone help me with the following fault code errors im getting on my 1.4 16v Corsa B (97)




It has just failed its MOT on emissions twice :rolleyes:
