check ur vacuums on the back of the air filter, there should be 2 pipes a red and a black one, make sure they are connected, if not it stops ur airflow and causes ur car to stall, my mate had the same problem after he fitted an induction kit,he forgot to plug up the vacuum!!!. try that man

chears peeps for ur help avnt had a chance to av a look at it yet . and for those who said change the plugs i avnt long ago put new ones in and there aint no leads on it its a 12v and the block on top ov the plugs(cant remember wot its called)has recenly been changed as well.thanks again:thumbs:

i'd say buy new HT leads and new plugs. get a new distributor cap aswell

tell u the truth. She sounds fucked
check the oil. on your dip stick
then c if it is discolored there could be fuel in with your oil.
If there is fuel in the oil. the oil will be thinner and the parts in the engine wont be getting propper lub!

i had the same problem and so did my m8, my car actually run on summat like 200 revs it wer mad , a feckin grandad in a wheelchair cuda beat me in a race , neway my m8 tuk his car to vauxhall and they chard him a arm and a leg , i tuk me car to a local garage that only sells car parts he had a luk and then cleand out all my air pipes and replaced a chip , not sure which one and it cost me £20.

Clean the EGR (Exhaust gas recirculation valve) or ERV as mentioned above with carb cleaner.

Its the silver circular thing infront of the exhaust manifold. (its directly in front of the bonnet catch)

Also remove the idle control valve and clean with carb cleaner.

also remove all breather pipes and clean with carb cleaner.

(For the Idle control valve youll have to remove part of the inlet manifold to get access to it as its right at the back of the engine bay)

ERV? mayb thats fooked, mine did it took it too vauxhall and they replced it and now it runs fine

i got this prob m8 but it dont take time to start and sometimes it does stal geting worse been told it cud b the ecu or throttle bodie. also wen goin fast the engine manigment light comes on and restricts me to a certon speed the lets me carry on damn thing i need da cash to send it in to garage.

when i go to start it its takin ages to start and when im drivin and i put my foot down on the clutch the revs drop right down to the point where the car almost stalls,cheers for n e help:thumbs:
