Get ARP conrod bolts -stops your pistons crashing into valves @ high revs. | |

Replace cam belt and rollers with new OE Vaux ones the only weak point on this engine or if going for big power get SBD uprated ones (see above). Uprated bottom end bolts are worthwhile if going for big power only £60-70 but an arse to fit | |

Before I spend loads of cash on tunin the engine (1.4 16v) I want to get it as solid and reliable as poss. What kind of things would you advise replacing to achieve this? |
