Note that you need blue coolant, not red. If you think it's hard driving a 12v without power steering then try out a Saxo or 106 without it, it's like trying to push an aircraft carrier through curtard.

put whatever you want in the windscreen wash lol.

as for the coolant, you may as well flush out any of the old debrit thats in there with water then drain that before putting in the new coolant.

Edit. you can get ready mixed stuff from halfords.

brake fluid - top left
oil - main engine
windscreen wash - top right
coolant - in a ball shaped container next to the windscreen wash.

If it isn't, no thats the wrong pplace.

The 1.0 12v's have electronic power steering, no fluid IIRC

Hi. Drove my mum's car the other day and noticed the power steering doesn't seem to be as good as it was! Checked what I think is the fluid, and there's nothing in it lol. So bought some more... is where I've circled the right place to be chucking it?
