ive got same car, mines was doin same n it was tyre pressure that was off. check ur pressure, 32 front 30 back i think for 1.4 16v.

yeah i got the same car its probably tires. mine can neva get n e grip.

i hate it when i want to me a quick getaway in the wet and it spins up as soon as i hit 4K.

i reckon its kanckered front tyres i had the problem real bad especially round roundabouts but now i got nice new tyres on me car and its fine

I no this mite seem silly, but wot sorta speeds we talkin?

if u got little tread and its wet, u mite b understeerin!! (long shot i know, but i'm stumped)

the only thing i was going to say is the power steering, but as you dont have it, rules that out. lol. Get the tracking checked, and maybe balancing as well, also tyre pressures and correct fitting of wheel onto hub should also be checked.

hiya everyone. i have a 95reg sri. latley when going around corners my steering keeps going really light. it feels like im on a skating ring only for a few seconds and then it goes back to normal again. my car is not powered stearing. does anyone no what it could be please?
