I chopped the outer rubber shell of then pulled like mad! It came off. The orig got again from scrappy-it came off dead easy somereason?? Prob cost £2 as got few bits. | |

I've got a richbrook one and im still to fit it. where abouts did you hacksaw through it? and how much did the original cost you from vaux? | |

Tried kicking it! Even tried hitting it all sorts began to annoy me. Still driveable just have watch dont put it in reverse instead of 1st. Gear knob I got is Vaux one complete circular designed for lift up anyway. | |

Im replacing me gear knob back to the orig one with lift up collar. The problem I got at the moment is that when I lift up the collar the spring doesn't push it back down again so it stays lifted. The collar section is a bit stiff to move?! |
