ive got same problem mate, just when cornering the lights pops on 4 a second on dash, dont like the idea of handbrake being in action when going round a bend tho! ive been told rear brake shoes will solve it but not 100 % mate

I've check the brake pads yesterday and they was fine. am thinking its hand break sensor. :(

the brake light could mean the brake pads are getting low im not shure if there is a sensor on the 12v or not but some cars have a sensor to tell you when the brake pads are getting low.

if its got the engine management light on take it a garage and have them plug it in to the fault code reader and it will pinpoint where the fault lies.

check the plugs, and also there has been problems with egr's on these engines so whip it off and see if the old carb cleaner trick works.

First problem is low brake fluid. Get it topped up asap.

Second could be a number of things but I don't have my magic ball telling me what engine you have, what fuel it runs on etc.

Hey guys, my hand break light keeps popping up on dash while am going around corners? is it a dead sensor or something?

Also when am on bypass getting up 2 70 is hard, as it will flatspot n then engine management light will come on, and i have to slow down before i can gas it again. Its pretty scary when over taking too. Any ideas? :)

Thanks.
