The professional way is to drill two holes above and below the key slot (the thin ends) then use wiggle bar..

The quick way is to cut the end off the barrel off with a 1mm grinding disc then dig out the waffers with a screw driver then turn it to postion and release.

Have to change an ignition barrel on a corsa B (no immobilser or anything to worry about).

Normally you can just put the key in, turn it and put a rod in the hole in the barrel to release it, but this car the key has snapped so i have no key to turn the ignition with?

Easy way of releasing the barrel to change it when i have half a key only?

Need to know asap so any help would be great
