No can be done with the engine in :thumbs: will just need to remove the bumper and tie bars if your replacing it.

I might just plate it up then, is it worth taking engine out to do it?

The cross member is available from most pattern pannel suppliers and they are normally on ebay too..

Replacing the whole front panel is a wanker of a job, replacing JUST the cross member part is a bit easier.

It is much easier to just repair what you've got or just cut out the rusty bit and use that piece of the new pannel to replace it.

No he means crossmember :o :lol:


There not to bad to fit, just got to be handy with a welder :thumbs: you will get 1 from any local parts place that sell pannels or you could get it from vaux :look:

How hard is it to repalce front cross member cause mine is rotten and needs changing and does anybody know were to get a new cross member from.
