Ok, but i don't get why it comes up with fuel trim (bank 1)

How is that related to the lambda??

Thanks for the spark plug tip it cured the misfire, didn't think to check that.

And you think the lambda is bringing uop them fault's bearing in mind that the EGR Valve is blanked off.

I never thought to check that mate so i will get on with that, i have blanked the EGR valve off so once i have been booting it for a while it comes on, but goes off after a quick flick of the key :lol:

I got it plugged in on my mates reader and it came up with;

Fuel trim (bank 1)
exhaust gases

any idea's

Take the plugs out and check them i had a c20xe with this problem and it was the tops of the spark plugs were loose... Other than that it could be leads or coil. Does the engine managment come on at all?

It's a 1.6 16v Corsa Sport

When my 1.4 sport starting acting like this. This was the reason the engine finally packed in.

The end damage was a spark plug had dropped into cylinder 4 smashing it up and the head gasket also blew.

Weather it's the same case as yours unsure but I wouldn't ignore it!

Hope you get it sorted :)

It won't skip a beat if you drive it normally or accelate slow.

the egr valve is blocked off and it has a pipercross viper filter.

Any ideas guys
