thats the way to be , just leave ur car on ur drive ,as long as it luks mint. my car does catch on 17s but i would do all the work needed for 18s bcoz i want em, but whats the deal with offsets , what part of the wheel does this apply to.

i will cut the rear arches not that biga job.

17's wouldnt really catch if you get the correct offset of et45-49. Mines lowered up to 60 mm wit hthe ICE and with a car full it doesnt rub still.

I spoke to this bloke that sells alloys, and he once had a corsa lowered 40mm and on 18's on standard arches with offset et49. He cut as much metal as he could, and it still rubbed at the rear. But it might be down to him just fitting springs and the ride was bouncy.

I'm fitted 18's soon and i dont care if it rubs, cus i dont drive it much.

does the K2's have 6 thin spokes?? If so I saw some yesterday and the spokes dont go right up to the rim :o:o doesnt look big, but they look well nice....and they do the correct fitment for the Corsa :D in 18's

What r really nice r the Toora T950 and the BK 240.:! dont do the correct offset and width :(

not all that simple mate, the rear arch needs cutting then welding again. or else you tyres will become extremely smooth on the sidewalls!

Well, i tried a set on my corsa b a few days ago, and the car didn't like them much. lol.

To get 17s, you need an offset of either 45 or 49, and a 7.0x18" wheel. 7.5x18 wont fit unless you have a wide arch kit or wider arches then standard, it catches on the plastic, and the metal under that, if your prepared to trim this back a bit they would fit, but i wasnt prepared to do that, so ordered 17s again but in a different style to what ive got already.

RimStock list some 7.0x18" and PVD offer some TecnoMagnesio 18" wheels with the correct offset of 49.

Hope that helps. Oh yeah, and my car that i tested the 18s on is lowered 40mm all round, but going 60mm on the 17s.
