I saw the Sony Xplod amp and sub box in empire direct for about £150 and was wondering as well if this is good value for money or would I be safer just getting separate subs and amp? I'm on a very tight budget and not actually looking for top of the range stuff that will blow my ears out just something to complement my system

You need an amp to run any sub. You could buy a free-air sub but there just not worth it. Your shelf would need to be about 2 inches thick to stop it flexing. Amp you 6x9s if you need the boot space but if you don't need the boot space buy an amp and sub package. £150 upwards.

I was wondering if a sub could be put into my parcel shelf between my 6x9s and not be run off an amp? Don't know that much about ICE so don't go laughing now! |
