well the idle control valve lets a certain amount of air bypass the tb,but the air that it will be getting now wont have been measured by the afm so it will knock the fueling out etc. | |

it should run with the vacums off although not very well,but it wont run with that pipe off. | |

your pipe which goes from the idle control valve to the eco tec pipe wont be connected if you dont have the adaptor.thats why it wont stay running. | |

well that would be vacume pipe and it needs to have a constant vacume to keep it ideling... | |
