X18XE1 is small block.

ok cheers mate:thumbs: really glad to hear it then. Means I don't need to go buying driveshafts, radiators and other boring shit.

and I'll let you know about the loom but not right now as i'm broke.

No that'll be fine, just use the 1.2 8v box and shafts

Yer, I seen someone do a 1.2 using the same shafts and box.

I'm concerned because my block is has 8 valves and the x18xe1 has 16 valves.
Would this be a problem at any point? cheers

Btw I know X18XE is big block and I think X18XE1 is small, is X18XE1 a small block? thanks, everywhere I have read, it is small block but somebody is insisting it's big.

okay, is this the only thing excluding ecu and loom?

He was sure I can leave the gearbox, driveshafts in. It'd be great if this is the case. Even one mount...it's not much to do

Think you'd need to change the engine side mount. I'm sure WarrenG or DaveyLC will confirm this 100% though.

I was told today this will slot into the bay of my corsa B, 1.2 8v engine.

I was told I would only have to change the loom & ecu, is this correct as somebody is insisting I need to change mounts
