Even if you wallopit with a hammer there will be small obstructions left inside and the gases wouldn't flow through smoothly. Also the resonance inside a empty cat pipe would sound like a wet fart through a thong (not nice). Just spend the £50 on a decat pipe. (and get a new cat to get you through the MOT when the time comes. :) | |

the replacement pipes arent that much mate, smashin it would just make a rattle and if it's knakered it'll go soon anyway | |

I am thinking about taking the cat of my car and smashing the insides out. this will have the effect of a decat pipe but it will still look as if there is a cat on. The cat is brocken anyway and i have a new 1 on the way. what do u think!!:boggle: |
