i think pioneer do an adapter but u will need this for the steering wheel controls to work. The cheapest way to keep the steering wheel controls is with a sony or kenwood unit cos then u can buy an autoleads adapter for £32.99, i wouldnt be surprised if u get asked for £100 for a pioneer adapter.

Cheers corb, thats basically all I needed to know about the amp, as I like to know what I'm looking for when I go to buy stuff as I don't wanna risk being fobbed off by a sales person!!

Any thoughts on the steering control thing!?

not true about same make, best off with a 4channel amp, channels 1 + 2 for 6x9's and bridge 3+4 for sub.

As some of you may be aware, I am looking to buy an amp for my car, but the thought suddenly occurs that I know nothing about amps so I don't know what to get, basically I wanna run my bass box and 6x9's off it, and want a fairly descent one, also is it true that its best to stay with one brand for all your I.C.E. i.e if you have a pioneer head unit then get a pioneer amp and speakers etc? Just something some1 told me!

Also when I eventually put my head unit in my car, I wanna still be able to use the steering wheel controls (I have a Pioneer DEH-6400R) and I've noticed that one of the wires on the ISO connector is labelled "B REMOTE" which I am aware is to switch on an amp, but does this mean my steering wheel controls will work without any further modifications?
