On the subject of alarms does anyone know if there is a fuse anywhere other than fuse box or somethin else that could be causing this prob? My alarm turns on and the LED flashes etc but it does not go off or anythin, i've tested it by dead locking the car with the windows open and I can touch the motion sensor and rock the car and even open the boot (by turning the lock to stop it bein on central locking) and the alarm still doesn't go off. Any ideas?

Mine does it too. It gets confused very easily, panics and starts screaming. My alarm has actually completely broken and vauxhall are fixing it at the end of the month.

Please help me try and solve this annoying problem......

I have a 97 'R' 1.6V sport.

I have had no problems in locking/deadlocking the car and the alarm activates all OK...

Sometimes when I unlock the car the poxy alarm wont switch off and I have to lock it and try unlocking again before it switches off

I have taken the door panel off and can see that a micro switch activates the alarm but this doesnt turn the alarm off....

If anybody has any ideas where the problems lies I would be much appreciated?...possiblity the soloniod on the lock as this has quite a few wires leading to it....?

many thanks

Chris
