Also on my current K&N some of the little red bits are starting to bend and lose their straightness!! Anyone know why? It's mostly around where my air intake pipe is? Is my pipe to close to the cone or something?

if you want "better" performance just put a air intake pipe on there :P the vipers are very good. but abit on the qiuiet side for my likeing... hence me selling my piper X cone too.. the lack of flat spots caused my my cone sucking in was worth the viper :P but ive just paid £69.95 for my BFO cone and a new air intake pipe :P

True Meat Pie but i just want better performance, not super performance. I carefully worded my post so it didnt sound like i want too much from an induction kit.

toilet mate. Unless you want to spend big money, the K&N is prob the best for performance You're never gonna get really good power gains from one anyway

I've heard bad things about them. Plus thats a little more than i wanna pay for an induction kit.

Whats the BFO cone like? I know its good for nosie but what about performance?
