the great help.
BUT

does any1 know where they are located? both the ICV and TPS?

If that dont work could be TPS(throttle position sensor), when the car accelerates the sensor tells ecu how far throttle is opened to accomidate air n fuel mixture,sometimes a faultly sensor does not sense the position when the car deaccelerates to idle therefore wont idle correctly or at all. hope this helps

As said above:rolleyes:could be idle control valve, try cleaning with brake cleaner or similar sometimes they just get a bit grotty n need a clean to free things up. If you do make she u give it a dab of oil before puttin it back on, jus frees things up a bit.:thumbs:

my 2002 astra 1.6 has a weird idle problem
sometimes its fine and no problems

other times as soon as i slow down it stalls
it just wont idle at all, it drives fine but just wnt idle at traffic lights etc

any help~?
