at the bottom of the tube where its metal u have cut this piece out as there is bout a 1" space in there, do it like opening a tin of beans with can opener u'll see small plastic thing which u then place the sealent gun on this and push

Right I just looked on U-Pols website and they say to use a standard cartridge caulking gun, which is what I have.
Do I need to bust a seal on the bottom of the can aswell or something ?
It sounds like theres sand or summat in the bottom of the can, like in a little compartment, cause if rattles if its shook.
Please.. someone must have used this stuff.

Ok I just pierced the top and tried it in a different gun which I know works, but as I thought nothing in the bottom of the can moves, so there is nothing to push the tiger seal out of the can.
I'm stumped!

doesn't look like anything on the top moves either.
Anyone had any experience with this stuff ? I need to bond my arch back on before it gets dark

Not sure about this, but me and my dad were using some expanding foam recently, and the gun for that was different, and fitted to the top of the can. Could be the same idea here then mate.

c'mon someone must have used it!
I don't wanna put this one in the gun aswell if thats not how its sposed to be used. Cos it just crushed the can last time.

Just got some tiger seal and its in a big long metal tube, like bathroom sealant and that sort of thing.
Does it go into one of those decorators corking guns ? because last time I tried it, the gun wouldn't push any of it out, because it all seemed to be one peice of metal at the bottom of the can, nothing appeared to move to be able to push the tiger seal out.
Maybe it was a fault can ? or is it me being a muppet again  :boggle:

Cheers
