nope not neccicerialy

thats just the other symptoms mate ]

take the rad cap off and rev it to around 1100 rpm if u get bubbles in ya water its putting exhaust gasses into thew coolant and over pressurisng it .... head gasket mate ... unless the coolant has been poorly bled

vauxhalls self bleed just lift the expansion tank to a higer point than the engine and let the bubbles stp coming out :D

If it was the headgasket then id have oil in my coolant or cream under the cap but i have neither, the water is coming out the cap on the bottle. Will look at getting the airlock done.

u will need to bleed it mate

if that fails its the headgasket over pressurising

i dont know mate but if theres a airlock just open the cap start it and squeeze the pipes and it should bubble in the water

I had the water pump and cambelt done a while back, will have to check on how to bleed a x16xe radiator. will i have to empty the system of just release air from a valve?

Ok someone might know why my car is pushing coolant out past the lid of the headertank thingy. I dont understand how/why its doing it. Any one come across this before and how have you sorted it? I was thinking an airlock might be the problem :boggle:
