Why not use the battery, its a permenant live and so you can have them on when you want thats what ive used for my footwell neons!!! | |

i believe the best place is the ciggie lighter, you can get to the ciggie lighter's wires by getting a screwdriver, and putting it down the side of the 'coin holder' plastic bit, and pop! it comes. I wouldnt wire it to a internal light cause footwell neons look the best at night, I got 9" slim lines from neoquip.com and shoved it into the ciggie lighter with the adapter, I'm planning to hook it up to a switch at a later date :)! best results at night btw. | |

I wired my fottwell neons off the internal light so they came on when you open the door or yoy can turn them on/off from the switch for the light rather than having another switch. | |
