When i get the car will have a look to see if wiring is all in place and go from there! have been told would need different door cards possibly to do leccy windows. Got plenty of time to do it anyway :)

I've got electric heated mirrors in my SXI but not electric Windows... I'm considering doing what you could do yourself Sxi2001...

Get the Electric Motors from another vaux car at a breakers yard and then fit them myself...

Thanks for that peeps, thought it must of been that it JUST missed out on them! Bugger, oh well that will be amongst a list of things to do!!

They started putting leccy windows in the Sxi in October 2001, cos i was going to pick my old one up in september, and the dealer said if i wait til october it'll have leccies, and heated mirrors.

the earlier sxi's had 14" 3 spokes as standard and the leccy windows was an optional extra when new.

I still think yours should of had them though! as i do know someone with a 51 plate sxi and it has them!

Yeah sorry should of said its an Sxi registered 09/01. I have been told earlier models had 13" alloys and NO leccy windows or heated mirrors. As mine has 15" alloys its the newer model and SHOULD have them.

what model is it? before 2002, im sure it was the club, gls and comfort that came without those features as std.

wud have thought so yeh, i thought they are options on any model and standard on some models

I'm picking up a 51 plate registered 09/01 on Saturday, I thought these came with electric front windows and heated mirrors, but seeing the car today ot doesn't...It does have the 15" alloys though.

can any one tell me what date they started using leccy windows??
