as meat pie says its your hydraulic lifters or more common as tappets mate!

i have the same ticking noise but im drivin a new sxi the reason 4 mine is the timing chain cause their is no belt so i was told?

I have a loud tocking noise on my Corsa b sri 1.4i on cold starts but it goes away after about 1/2 a mile or so - just had an oil change and noise is still there - the noise gets louder as the revs get higher

can anyone help me please its a bit embarrasing!
