I've done the Autoleads thing too. They work a treat and still have enough clearance for the windows. I have been in contact with Audioscape who are gonna develop a replacement door pocket in MDF to take 6.5in soon. Im sending them my door pockets and cars and they're gonna get them made up to produce. Chk their website www.audioscape.co.uk

I got 6"'s in mine without pods. Just smashed inside of the old speakers up and tigersealed my new speakers to the old frame around the old speaker. Then screwed them in as normal. They just squeezed in but sometimes they rattle the surround. Most of the time they are OK though and look sweet too.

Thanks for that man! :) Yeah, I've got electric windows. I could just get 5.25"ers, but why, when I can potentially get 6.5"ers in, hey? (Or maybe 8"ers - hmmmmmmm - hehehe) :D Besides, I can't really see the point in wasting money on speakers that look good too, if they're gonna be hidden.

Thanks again for your help mate.

Hey mate :)

I think it was you, who recently built out your door pods, so that your front speakers fit on the outside of the speaker grill in the front door? Am I right?

Can you please email me some info on how you did that? I'm pretty sure that the Corsa B takes 5.25" splits in the front, yeah? Is that right? I was wanting to try and get 6.5" in the front. Even if I can't, I want to mount my front splits on the outside of the grill, rather than hiding them behind the black plastic in the dark.

Thanks mate :)

P.S. My email address is in my user info.
