Id put money on EGR tbh. Try unplugging it and see if it makes a difference | |

could be broken in the closed position so wouldnt make it rev. would make it stall all the time. wouldnt affect t when driving though so doubt its that | |

Hmm, Idle Control Valve only does what it says on the tin...the idle. Any hesitation through the remainder of the rev range is probably due to a fault elsewhere. | |

If its your ICV Your Car Revs its Tits of.Its is near the Coolant Bottle but it is a right Badger to Replace. | |

doesnt have an air flow meter on them engines. does your speedo work? | |

could be could also be air flow meter or thorttle position sensor, id say more the air flow meter, | |

I believe the Idle Control Valve on my 96' Corsa Sport X14XE needs replacing or cleaning out. |
