check the wires going to coolant temp sensor also relace this | |

dont totally cover it jus restrict the size of it go around the outside of it say it has a 3" diamater restrict it to 1.5" diamater to see if theres any difference | |

no your exhaust will just blow, do as said above check for air leaks around the inlet throttle body area, check the mass air flow meter by restricting it with selotape, then try the throttle position sensor unplug it and see theres any change then do idle control valve, trial and error mate im having same proplems with my xe | |

Ive got a split /crack in the exhaust somewhere in the middle section think its at the back of the middle box as you can hear it blowing on idle. | |

Yeh if it drops makes a diffrance then you know its not that i.e its working properly. if its not working it wont make a dif. | |

Ive had the same problem, needle hardly moves on the rev counter but you can feel the little jolts. Have had it with both x16xe engines ive had as soon as i put an exhaust on them :boggle: | |

spray break cleaner around the inlet, throttel body ect the engine will start to rev high as it drawing in the flamable substance | |

Car drives fine really but seems to idle a bit rough. |
